Over thousands of years the indigenous people of the Southwest have left behind only clues about who they were, where they came from, their traditions and family constellations.
These clues, etched in rock faces and on canyon walls across the New Mexico landscape remain as much an enigma as the etchings left behind. There is no Rosetta Stone that might give them a single meaning. Part of the adventure surrounding petroglyphs is the opportunity for us to imagine their stories as vast as the landscape that surrounds them.
