My design principle follows the wisdom of writer/poet Antoine de Saint-Exupery well known for writing The Little Prince. "A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away". I make no claim for there being perfection in my work, I do find the exquisite purity and simplicity of petroglyphs require little to be added.
After careers in music, digital media technology and organic farming, I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. The expansive landscapes and the ancient indigenous cultures led me on an adventure and discovery of ancient indigenous petroglyphs.
Fire On Steel embodies my vision of these magnificent images, their energy and the landscape where they have endured for millennia. I'm energized by integrating light and story telling into my work, extending the immersive experience as much as possible through the lens of cutting steel
